This technique is called dye-sublimation, which is a versatile method of printing by using disperse dyes onto polyester fabrics. I explore the possibilities of combining synthetic and natural yarns as the saturation of colour varies. I am interested exploring in unusual materials and techniques to create innovative design that speaks for itself.
I have created a collection of woven fabric to show how as an overseas student I have embraced the beauty of rainy London with my traditional woven fabric and contemporary photographic print technique.
